Rado Star Prize France
The Rado Star Prize France is an annual young designers’ competition that has been held since 2012. It consists of two awards: a jury prize and a prize selected by the public via online voting. All finalists take part in an exhibition of innovative design projects held in conjunction with Paris Design Week.
Rado Star Prize Taiwan
Rado is pleased to announce that it is once again an official World Design Partner® for the prestigious World Design Capital® 2016 programme, which takes place in Taipei. Rado is an integral part of the design programme, with the organisation of the first ever Rado Star Prize Taiwan. The theme of the competition is “design in motion”.
Rado Star Prize US
The first stateside edition of the Rado Star Prize US focused on exploring the concept of “a lighter way of living” – a theme embodied by Rado’s latest lightweight and minimalist watch collections. Rado teamed up with NYCxDESIGN and WantedDesign to host the competition and exhibition of the finalists’ innovative projects.
Rado Star Prize Italy
Rado held the first Italian edition of the Rado Star Prize in 2016, which was open to students of Istituto Marangoni School of Design and School of Fashion. Students were encouraged to investigate innovative solutions in the use of materials with a particular focus on the theme of lightness.
Rado Star Prize Austria
The Rado Star Prize Austria is a biennial design competition. From January through August, talented designers exhibit their works in the window of the Rado boutique in Vienna. The winner receives the chance to exhibit their works at the Rado boutique during Vienna Design Week.
Rado Star Prize Switzerland
Rado is a proud partner of Design Prize Switzerland, a wide-ranging Swiss design competition that is held every other year. Rado sponsors the category entitled Rado Star Prize Switzerland for Young Talents, which honours innovative, individually designed or produced projects or products.
Rado Star Prize UK
Rado partners with designjunction to launch the first-ever UK edition of the Rado Star Prize design competition. Under the theme “Design meets time”, it will target the next generation of young British designers working across interior, industrial and technology design, culminating in a spectacular exhibition and awards ceremony at designjunction 2017.
