RADO STAR PRIZE AUSTRIA 2019

Swiss watchmaker Rado is pleased to announce a competition for design talents: the Rado Star Prize Austria 2019. Starting in January 2019, the window of Rado’s Viennese boutique will feature a different design installation every month. The Rado Star Prize is a global design competition that promotes innovative design, with editions running in several different countries every year. The innovative winner of the Rado Star Prize 2019 will get € 5.000,- prize money and will be announced in October 2019.

Benedikt Stonawski wins the Rado Star Prize Austria 2019 with “Material in Motion”

And the winner is... Benedikt Stonawski with “Material in Motion”! Each of the eight finalists in the Rado Star Prize Austria design competition presented their creative implementation of this year’s “Master of Materials” theme at the Rado Boutique in Vienna every month from January to August. The young product designer managed to impress the expert jury across the board with his shop window installation “Material in Motion” to win the prestigious design prize.
