Rado annouced the first Rado Star Prize UAE winner during Dubai Design Week 2019. The jury selected 4 finalists and the winner was announced on November 12th, 2019 at the Rado booth in d3. It’s a great opportunity for young designers to launch their career on a global stage.


At an exclusive event held during Dubai Design Week, Rado announced the winner of the first edition of the Rado Star Prize UAE. The Judges’ Winner prize was awarded to Aya Charife and her project “Takyeef” among selected 4 finalists.


Showcasing the work of a range of talented young designers responding to the theme ‘Design with Timeless Appeal’, the Rado Star Prize is an institution in the world of design. Previous competitions have been held in various countries and It’s now time for a new generation of UAE-based designers to show what they can do. For those interested in design, high-tech materials and the latest innovations and technology in watchmaking, the Rado exhibition is a must-see highlight during Dubai Design Week. Don’t miss it!
