Philippe Nigro was born in Nice, France and studied Applied Arts and Product Design in La Martinière and Boulle. An independent designer since 1999, he started his career while completing his studies in De Lucchi in Milan, where he was involved in numerous design projects for products, furniture, lighting, interior architecture, events and scenography. In 2014, he was selected as the Designer of the Year by Maison & Objet. Today, he spends his time working between France and Italy with different international brands for various collaborations. He is the president of the jury panel of Rado Star Prize 2017.


Chantal Hamaide, alumnus of the ENSAD and journalist, creates in 1985 the Intramuros magazine. She is the director of publication. Invested in the cultural and economic development of the design, Chantal Hamaide, essential international actor of the scene of the design is for the initiative of numerous exhibitions, conferences, events in France and abroad. Her interventions know a success and a gratitude which knew how to feed the growing interests of institutions, professionals and general public for the design. In 2000, she received the distinction of Knight of the Legion of Honor put back by Laurent Fabius, Minister of Finance, the Industry and the Financesand in 2011 she was promoted chevalier, Minister of Culture and Communication.


Yann Fabes has been a visual artist since 1988, his work has been presented in numerous galleries, art centers and museums in France and abroad. He was the project manager at the Museum of Modern and Contemporary Arts in Saint-Etienne from 1989 to 1999, and worked as a teacher at the Ecole Régionale des Beaux-Arts in Saint-Etienne from 1993 to 2003, before he became the coordinator of the art department from 2003 to 2006, and eventually promoted to the teachers’ coordinator in 2006.
He was also a professor in art history at the Jean Monnet University from 1994 to 2003. From 2007 to 2011, he served as the director of studies at the Ecole Supérieure d’Art etDesign in Saint Etienne.

Philippe Brocart

Since 2012 Philippe Brocart has been Managing Director and board member of SAFI, a subsidiary of both Reed Exhibitions France and The Ateliers d’Art de France - famously known for organizing fairs as MAISON&OBJET, Paris design Week end editing the digital platform MOM.
From 1991 to 2012, Philippe held different key positions as director where he managed several fairs at Reed Exhibitions France, the French subsidiary of the world leader in fair organization.


Hakim El Kadiri has been responsible for product development at Rado since 2011. His technical and marketing background and passion for the beautiful things in life, such as design, art and photography, inspired him to join the watchmaking industry. For Hakim, watchmaking is a field where the creation of beauty is ever present, merging innovation, design and technology.
